I successfully downloaded xlisp onto my Mac and have a few questions as a
result. If these have been answered elsewhere a pointer to the responses
would be appreciated.
1) What is the largest number xlisp can deal with? I wrote a simple
factorial program (both iterative and recursive versions) and (FACT 8)
returned a negative number! (FACT 7) worked okay.
2. Is there any kind of macro defining facility?
3. Where can I locate xlisp programs? Are there any useful packages
floating around the net?
4. What's the longest list xlisp can handle? I defined a function to
generate a list of length N containing Nils (i.e. (nil nil nil)) and
for N = 100, I got the Serious System Error message and had to reboot.
Thanks for the info,
Seth Goldman
