The "rumor" column in the September issue of Computers and Electronics
(what used to be Popular Electronics) reports that Apple will be
putting two 5 MHz serial ports in the Fat Mac. This would be great for
hard disks! It also says that they are evaluating the use of the 68020
in future products (surprise!?!).
