Jerry's Finder 8 Patch 1.2.1

Low level stuff to examine and control your Mac. Hardware and software configuration reporting, speed testing, extension managers, startup managers, memory managers, fpu emulation, system monitors, screen resolution & depth, keyboard configuration, volume control. (Not for typical system or control panel extensions.)

Jerry's Finder 8 Patch 1.2.1 adds the following features to Finder 8.0,
8.1, or 8.5 (U.S. version):

= Increased Finder memory allocation for better stability
= Alias suffix changed for more attractive alias names
= "Curly f" new folder name for easier folder naming
= "Copy" suffix on duplicate files removed for easier file juggling
= "About This Macintosh" instead af "About This Computer"
= "Think Different" logo in "About This Macintosh" window
= "Jackdaws love my big sphinx of quartz" font sample
= "Quit Finder" menu command added to Special menu
= Over a dozen new keyboard shortcuts for increased productivity

Now includes patchers for Mac OS 8.0, 8.1, and 8.5; ResEdit files
containing the changed resources; and instructions and ResEdit templates
for making custom changes to the Finder. The 8.5 patcher will also work
with 8.5.1, since no changes were made to the Finder for that release.

Includes complete installation instructions. It's freeware by Jerry
Kindall. If you like it, please visit Manual Labor's home page,
