New apple products

Does anyone know of any plans for any updated versions of ipads or iMacs or MacBooks in the near future? I'm looking to buy one of the three and don't want to waste my money on a device that is soon to be replaced.

MacBook Air was just updated recently. The rest of the MacBooks are all approaching their respective end-of-life averages in Apple's product cycle. I would suppose they'll either be updated between now and early Dec or in January. Same with iMac.

There shouldn't be any more product upgrades this year. But I'll give you a tip: I bought a new 24" top of range iMac in August last year - and two weeks later Apple announced the widescreen range. I sent them a sniffy email, and hey presto! Two weeks later, my Mastercard had been credited with GB£100 as a 'sorry'. Nice one, Apple. I mean, the iMac is fabulous anyway. But that was good PR, I think, for a loyal customer (which they can check, I have bought several Macs over the past 15 years).

For iPad, there will be new version of it maybe in the early quarter of next year since Apple will put it in competition over RIM's Playbook. For Macbook Pro and Macbook air, all of them have been updated few months ago and of course we've seen Macbook air few days ago. for iMac, I also heard Apple is planning to release new iMac version with surprise, but don't know when for sure but probably next year....

Yeah soon like late summer or fall of 2011.
