Following is the text of an advertisement for Hippo C received in the
mail today. Does anyone have any experience with this software?

Hippo-C Level 1 is a full C compiler which compiles and executes directly
on a standard 128k single-drive Macintosh. Compiler follows the K & R
C-language definition, and is UNIX 7 compatible. Level 1 does not support
floating point.

A small C program (100 lines) typically compiles in about 8 seconds without
disk swapping. Execution speed is fast - the C line
for(i=0,i<100000,i++);
executes in less than 3 seconds.

Level 1 allows approx. 64K for user program and data. You can also chain C
progs together to effectively create and run a very large prog. Included in
the Hippo-C Level 1 package is compiler, editor, run-time library, on-line
tutorial/manual, debugger, shell-command processor, sample programs and
documentation.

Hippo-C Level 1 retails for $149.95 plus $10 shipping.(VISA, MC, etc. call
408-730-2601)

Hippo-C Level 2 is an optimizing 68000 native-code compiler with all
features of Level 1 plus macro assembler, linker, full floating point support,
and additional utility routines. Available October for $399.95.
An upgrade kit for $250 will upgrade Level 1 to Level 2 - available shortly
after Level 2 release.

No licensing fees or royalties on codes generated with Hippo-C, just mention
that Hippo-C was used to create your software.
