It looks like the bug in Macterminal beta release is that they broke
"erase to end of line". Given that this worked fine in previous
versions, it's probably a trivial screwup someone made in the course
of producing the beta version. I assume it's safe to say that they'll fix
it in the final release (I've reported it through official channels to
make sure they're aware of it)
