Best Video Card for Power Mac G4 "Gigabit" Ethernet?

Is the Radeon 9800 Mac Edition the best video card for a Gigabit G4 tower? I see a lot of other cards on eBay, presumably flashed PC cards, but I'm not sure if any of these are better than the Radeon 9800. In fact I find the whole video card market frankly quite confusing.

I recently asked this of an eBay seller who was selling an nVidia card of some sort for G4s. He said that as far as he knew, the Radeon 9800s were still the most powerful cards available for these systems. I also am not really fluent in the AGP video card market anymore, but I think the slightly less powerful PC cards might be the better value because the Radeons still command a premium price.
