low usb power in cube

I just got an error trying to attach an ipod nano to a cube. Will a powered usb hub fix this issue? any other solutions?

You got a low power warning plugging the iPod directly to the cube? That shouldn't happen I don't think, although I know that message will appear if you plug an iPod into the keyboard rather than computer itself.

you are correct i did plug it into the keyboard. with only 2 usb ports directly in the cube. one for keyboard other for speakers what would you do? i used my keyboard port on the quicksilver no problem.

Apple Keyboards are not designed to provide USB power. I would say you should definitely get a hub, or get non-USB speakers. Make sure you plug the hub into the computer and not the keyboard.
