Subject: [*] (Un)Lucky Lotto 2.0.3

How lucky are your Lottery numbers? Test them out with (Un)Lucky Lotto!!!

(Un)Lucky Lotto is a program that allows you to play your personal Lotto
numbers over a large number of simulated lotteries. You can easily
simulate months, years, or centuries of lotteries in just a few minutes,
thus practically testing just how "lucky" your numbers are. This version
of (Un)Lucky Lotto simulates the SuperLotto 6/51 currently in use in
California (as of late 1996), but the number of balls and picks can be
changed for any state's game

be added to the labels. Prints in Color.

Version 2.0 is non-modal, saves labels to disk files, and includes sample Music
CD and Computer CD labels.

Changes in version 2.0:

* Created new interface to support Music CD files and the saving of labels to
disk.
* All labels scale to the same size on all printers (fixed a division
problem).
* Labels now print so they match industry standard orientation (text is rotated
on the spine correctly).

Subject: [*] ConvertUnits Pro v1.5.4 measurement unit conversion for Mac

CU Pro is a measurements unit conversions calculator for the Macintosh
containing many hundreds of metric/S.I., imperial, U.S., and other units in
its database, most to 14 digit precision. New units can be added. Supports
ft/in/fractions, scientific notation and control of significant digits. Can
also convert currencies, clock times, and many physical constants. On-line
info on the history and development of modern measurement systems.

ConvertUnits Pro 'Lite' is a fully functional measurement unit conversion
program with an initial 25 conversion limit allowing access to any of the
over 1500 units in the database. After this initial trial period, a
reduced data set of 57 units will remain operational indefinitely.

ConvertUnits Pro 'Lite' is shareware that can be obtained from us or
downloaded from various worldwide web shareware repositories, and can be
upgraded to the full version by making payment of $39.95 by check or money
order. We will then send you a unique I.D. code by fax or e-mail within
approximately 24 hours of purchase, which you can use to enable the program
to full status. ConvertUnits Pro=81 'Lite' download file is approximately
500k (remember, the full database is built into the program).

If you find the shareware version useful but do not wish to upgrade to the
full version, we ask for a $10 registration fee, payable by check or money
order. If you decide to upgrade, you will be credited $15 for being so
honest.

We encourage you to distribute ConvertUnits Pro=81 'Lite' as widely as you l=
ike!

=46eature List:

* 1500 measurement units organized hierarchically in 100 "modes"
(Length, Volume, Area, Force, Pressure, and many others) and nine
"categories" (Basics, Electricity, Time, Unit Costs & Quantities, and
Whimsy).
* Over 120,000 different conversions are possible.
* Commonly used compound units such as: "tons, pounds, and ounces",
"hours, minutes, and seconds", and "feet, inches and fractions"
* 58 physical constants such as: "speed of light" and "gravitational
acceleration"
* Convert clock times between any two of over 200 locations in the
world, in standard or 24-hour format
* Trivia conversions in the "Whimsy" category, to answer such important
questions as: "How many times higher is Mount Everest than the Washington
Memorial?", or "How much would I weigh on Jupiter?"
* Currency conversions
* Significant figures vs. "calculator" display.
* U.S./English vs. International number formatting (commas vs. spaces).

Cyr? stands for Can You Remember. It's a ripoff of Nomis, which is
another HyperCard game. The reasons I did Cyr? I wanted to try to make
it, to see if I could, and I did, and also, I wanted to translate Nomis.
Actually, Nomis, in many ways, has a better interface. Try it, if you
think you know anything about French.

Cyr is like the game Simon. It plays a pattern, and you have to repeat
it. The pattern starts out short, but it gets longer and longer. There
are four difficulty settings -- I can't beat 15, but 10 is fairly easy.
5 is far too easy!

It's fairly small. Try it out.

Developed for secondary school students this is a tool for thematic
analysis of a Shakespeare play, in this case Hamlet. It contains the
whole text and is based around a simple 'find' command. However it is
much more powerful and much more usable by students of all abilities
than that makes it sound. It has been used and praised by 14 year old

This standalone application is fully functional apart from printing.
Only =A35 for the unlock code to give printing too.

Subject: [*] MailRouter 1.02 - rerouter extension for AIMS

Extension to Apple's Internet Mail Server. Used for forwarding and redirecting
electronic mail.

ShareWare payment: 1 copy - US$20, 1 site - US$50, world wide -
US$100.

The Avalonia MailRouter is an extension to Apples Internet Mail Server

(AIMS). It is supposed to be running in the background on the same machine as
AIMS, without taking more of the CPU and memory than absolutely needed.

By using Avalonia MailRouter AIMS is extended with functionality to handle many
domains on one single machine. Apart from assigning mailboxes to each user
on the
different domains, MailRouter can also redirect mail based on account or domain
names, handle subdomains, divide users on a big domain to a set of servers and
handle unregistered addresses.

The Avalonia MailRouter is ShareWare. You may try MailRouter out for free,
but if
you decide to continue using MailRouter, you must pay a ShareWare fee:

* To run a single copy of MailRouter on a single machine, the fee is
US$20.
* To run an unlimited amount of copies of MailRouter on machines placed
ata single physical location, the fee is US$50.

* To run an unlimited amount of copies of MailRouter on machines inside
the same organisation, placed anywhere in the world, the fee is US$100.

To run MailRouter, you need a copy of AIMS, preferably version 1.1.1 or newer,
running on a machine with at least a 68030 (or a PowerPC in the

PowerPC native version). For best results the machine should be running MacOS
System 7.5 or newer. Memory usage, depending on the amount of addresses
handled,
100-500 KB.

Changes since version 1.01

* Default handling of unresolved addresses changed - messages will now
be queued for later handling

* Enhanced queue handling to prevent deadlock situations when handling
very big amounts of messages - especially on slow machines.

* Old log files moved to archive.

Make A TestTone 1.0 - is a professional generator of sinusoidal audio test
signals. It calculates flexible ,highly accurate signals that are saved to
either Sounddesigner II, AIFF or WAV sound files. In addition it drops
markers in the sound files, indicating the exact frequency or amplitude at
that spot.

The test tones produced can help detect deficiencies in acoustical,
recording and signal processing situations, or serve as reference tones.
Make A TestTone is freeware, it was originally created to show off the

If possible, we would like this complete archive to be included on the

Subject: [*] Modem CC 1.1

This simple control strip module is for use with Open Transport/PPP and
allows one to change between Modem configurations without going through the
control panel. For example, one configuration might have the speaker on
and another have it off. In order to use Modem Configuration Changer (Modem
CC) to make changing configurations easy, first set up the configurations
you would like to use through Modem. Use the Configurations option under
the File menu in Modem to set up each configuration. This module will
recognize them immediately. The handy Open... feature allows one to open
Modem from the module if changes are desired to the configuration. Modem
CC's lights scroll when the modem is in use, a discreet reminder to the
user.

Modem CC requires OT/PPP 1.0, which requires OT 1.1.1.

Modem Configuration Changer is buckware. If you like the product, send me a

small utilities such as this that would go under the category "buckware".
Pay a buck, add a nifty gadget that makes life a little easier.

Subject: [*] OT/PPP CC 1.1

This simple control strip module is for use with Open Transport/PPP and
allows one to change between OT/PPP configurations without going through
the control panel. If you have more than one phone number for PPP access
to the Internet with your Mac, you should make configurations for each
method and switch between configurations instead of changing the setting in
the default configuration. In order to use OT/PPP Configuration Changer
(OT/PPP CC) to make changing configurations easy, first set up the
configurations you would like to use through PPP. Use the Configurations
option under the File menu in PPP to set up each configuration. This module
will recognize them immediately. The handy Open... feature allows one to
open PPP from the module if changes are desired to the configuration, and
the Connect/Disconnect feature is convenient for initiating and terminating
PPP sessions.

OT/PPP Configuration Changer is buckware. If you like the product, send me
a buck. I think that there is room for a new form of software consisting of
small utilities such as this that would go under the category "buckware".
Pay a buck, add a nifty gadget that makes life a little easier.

This patch fixes Progressive Network's RealAudio Encoder 2.0.1 to work with
more models of the 680x0 family of Macs, especially machines that use
accelerator boards or use a daughterboard mounted FPU.

Due to a bug in the System Software, a Gestalt selector the Encoder depends
on, "cput," sometimes returns faulty information. This patch fixes the
Gestalt test by setting it to "proc," the proper test on 680x0 machines.
A copy of the application is created, leaving the original untouched.

Subject: [*] Tree Drawing Application

For all linguists, psychologists, computer scientists and other
people who cannot live without trees, here is a program that allows
you to make nicely formatted trees. The resulting image can then be
copied into your favorite text processor. However, the program is not
for the uninitiated, as it requires textual input, so you have to know
how to write trees as either Lisp or Prolog structures (or any mixture
of these two). The program is able to format trees, make small changes
to the nodes and lay-out, align nodes, etc. It runs on every macintosh
known to mankind as long as it has system 7 or later; it is even
possible to make it draw trees using apple events. If anyone would
like a version that runs under system 5, please mail me.
The program is absolutely free and can be included everywhere,
provided the (skimpy) manual is also included.

Subject: [*] TurboFind 1.5.1 FAT

This is an update to earlier versions of TurboFind. It fixes an
embaressing "out by 1" bug in the recently posted version 1.5.

Note that this does NOT replace the TurboFindPart posted recently, which
is the OpenDoc version.

TurboFind searches the contents of TEXT files in a folder heirarchy for a
given string. It is designed to be as fast as possible.

You run it, drag the folder to search into the window, type the string to
find, press return and it searches. Documents remember the search folder.

A list of files which either have the string in their name, or in the
text of the file is displayed.

Double-click to view in a view window, Command-E to reveal in the Finder,
Command-I to show Finder info, Command-R to run in the Finder.

Files with names containing ".htm" have the HTML tags stripped from them
before display. Linefeeds are changed to Returns before display.

TEXT files with ".pdf" or ".hqx" in the name are skipped as being
non-interesting to search.

This version is a 68k & PowerPC FAT application. (There are utilities to
strip the unused code if you like).

The latest version and other free software by me is available from my
home page at:

http://www.moreinfo.com.au/access/

TurboFind is free.

Subject: [*] TurboFindPart 1.0 - LiveObject

This is an OpenDoc Part version of the TurboFind utility. PowerPC only at
the moment. You must already have OpenDoc installed (1.1 or later
recommended). Put the Editor in your Editors folder and use the Stationary
to create a new document.

TurboFind searches a folder hierarchy for TEXT files that contain a given
text string. This version only looks in the first 2Mb of the file.

The application version has more features than this LiveObject, but I
thought it was cool to do it as a part.

You can either click the "In" button and browse for a folder, or simply
drag a folder from the Finder into the window. Type the string to find and
hit return, or click the Find button to start searching. Command-Period to
stop searching.

Double-clicking one of the found files in the list will ask the finder to
reveal the found file.

OpenDoc is really great, if you are a software author interested in
converting your application to OpenDoc, mail me for more info on how I did
it.

Thanks to Metrowerks, Apple, MoreFiles, and MoreFinderEvents from DTS.

Peter.

Subject: [*] WebOutliner 1.0 (HOTSAUCE, HTML, PROJECTX, BOOKMARKS)

WebOutliner is a tool which automatically creates an outline of an entire
web site with all its web pages. For this it offers the following output
formats: HTML table, Netscape bookmarks and Meta Content Format (MCF). The
MCF outline is ready to be used with HotSauce (formerly known as ProjectX)
either two- or threedimensionally. The WebOutliner engine in the background
will always be able to cope with international matters such as umlauts or
diacriticals and convert them to their recognized equivalent if required.
WebOutliner fully supports Balloon Help and AppleScript.

The archive contains the application, the manual in PDF-Format and several
AppleScript demos which can be used for scheduling WebOutliner to
automatically create outlines e.g. by time or if folders change.

Works with all Macs running 7.1 or greater.

Fast. A typical file is processed at about 4-500 lines/second on a PowerMac
7200/90 with a set of basic options. Ultra fast when coupled with the
powerful caching features that mean only the changes to a file need
processing when it is processed later.
DNS resolving of unresolved names. If your server doesn't resolve the DNS
names then let WWWStat4Mac do it for you. Powerfull DNS caching means that
once a name has been looked up it won't need looking up again!
FAT Binary application, will run native on ANY Macintosh running System 7
or later.
Macintosh user interface for choosing, processing and saving files. Runs in
the background.

A Powerfull but flexible and simple to use, set of text based options. This
allows for rapid editing and customisation with a simple text editor.
A wealth of options available to help in log processing, including powerful
filtering and alias features. For example exlude all gif files from the
statistics with one simple command "exclude_file *.gif".
HTML output. Either a simple text version, or a more sophisticated TABLE
output with graphs and graphics.
Many different sections giving information on domains, sites, files, and
traffic.

Many traffic options including hour of day, day of week, month of year and
others.
Full range of sorting options for all of the data. Sort your statistics by
date/number of accesses/number of bytes transfered/ number of visits/name.
