Ear Workout is a program for improving your musical hearing skills. You can

Ear Workout should run on any reasonably modern mac. You will not be able

=46a=E7ade V1.09 (c)1992-1996 AKUA interactive media ag
**** Fa=E7ade Release 1.09 consists of three archives:
a.) Fa=E7ade.109 containing Control Panel, I.R.S., Menu Bazaar & ReadMe
b.) Fa=E7ade.Facets.109 containing a main set of Face-Files
c.) Fa=E7ade.More.109 containing more Face-Files
**** What it does=8A
=46a=E7ade "attaches" files (called "Facets") to your System file to enhance=
or
augment it with new features such as icons, sounds, windows, buttons and/or
scrolls and other things. Fa=E7ade is something like an Enabler-Enabler.
=46a=E7ade uses NO RAM, patches NO TRAPS and - read my lips - NO NEW TAXES
(It is free).
**** Why you want it=8A
There are a lot of cool icon sets out there from Copland to Hi-Tech to John
Q. Programmer's Personal, for one. You can just drop these in your Faces
folder instead of dangerous/complicated ResEdit work.
Another reason is to keep your Sounds and other System stuff (FKeys, etc.)
out of the System file, so you can do a clean install without
losing these things. When you boot with the "Shift-Key" to disable extension=
s,
you really disable everything you've changed.
One further reason is to use Facets containing replacement buttons, lists,
scrolls, and/or windows definition procedures (the things that draw these
things), they could be placed in the "Faces" folder for use with no
further extensions needed to your System. Some contributed items
are included in the distribution. (See the note below on third-party Facet
files.)
Changes in 1.09
a.) Support for "FAT" Facets. Face Creators see notes in ReadMe.
b.) Inclusion of "Akua Menu Bazaar" Facet and helper Facets.
c.) May have fixed an intermittent bug that hung the startup.
d.) Changed name from "Godot's Faces" to "Fa=E7ade".

Subject: [*] Fly Swatter
Hi,
Here is Fly Swatter, a little game I've written. It is freeware, with the
provision that if you use it, please try to send me a note letting me know.
The object of the game is to swat a little fly with your mouse cursor,
which appears as a fly swatter. Only one fly appears at a time. If you
swat him, a new one will appear. If you miss, the fly will hop about, so
you have to be fast!
Fly Swatter should run on most any Mac running System 6.0.4 or higher,
black and white or color. Not much testing has been done on System 6,
though.
Settings you can change in Fly Swatter:
. Number of flies that you must swat
. How long the fly stays stationary
. Scoring method
. Sound on/off
You can also adjust the size of the game window, via an invisible grow box
in the lower-right hand corner of the window. Make it small enough, and
you'll never miss! By the way, my high score for a 1/2 second fly time is
17 out of 20 flies. Beat that!
I can't promise future improvements, but please let me know how you like it!
Happy swatting,
Victor Franco

If you are looking for a simple and reliable way of keeping track of usage
time on your computer, then this software is for you! LogOut tracks usage
time on your computer for billing clients, tax purposes, system utilization,
etc. LogOut is particularly useful in an environment where a single computer
is used by more than one person.
LogOut has many unique features not found on any other software of its kind.
For example, it has the ability of knowing when you have stopped using the
computer, much like a screen saver, and then automatically logging you out of
an account.
LogOut is also customizable so you can tailor it to your individual needs.
This is a long awaited update to the program, which adds some of the most
requested features from previous users.

should update to this new version.

Experience the mad collision system that makes our game something
like a crazy space pool. Blast out the heaviest mother bases you
could dream of. Destroy the toughest enemies in evil space.
Survive the higher levels fighting maniacal hordes of nasties.
System requirements: a 020 Mac (030/040 at 25MHz *recommended*) or
a PowerMac; System 7.0; Sound Manager 3.0; a 13" or higher monitor;
a 2.5Mb to 3Mb free RAM partition; 2.4Mb disk space.
The program runs native on *both* 68K and PPC Macs.
Permission is granted to the InfoMac staff to include this program
on their CDROM. Any other shareware publisher should contact us to
get our approval.
Version 1.4 fixes a crashing bug on 68LC040 machines, where the game
was freezing unexpectedly; fixes also a cosmetic bug in the PPC version
on all PowerMacs, where a high score name wasn't displayed correctly;
*adds* the possilibity to save a game *in progress*.

VacationMail is a utility for UNIX based e-mail users (such as Eudora, TCP
Connect, ZMail, etc.) that automatically replies to all incoming e-mail
messages while users are unavailable.
Users setup their mail account information and then create the vacation
message they wish to have sent out. VacationMail is "Eudora-aware". So
users of the popular public domain and commercial mail program will be able
to configure VacationMail with two simple clicks - skipping the account
setup step. The auto response system in vacation will only send one message
per week to any one e-mail address and will not respond to messages from
mailing lists or list servers. A full Unix based mail account is necessary
for VacationMail to run properly.

Subject: [*] WindowMenu v1.1 -- lets you select windows directly
WindowMenu is a small utility that exists to let you do one thing:
jump directly to a specific window in an application. Although I have
a big monitor, I often find myself going through all kinds of
contortions to get to a window I know is open but that is buried under
a hundred others. Applications with "Windows" menus help things
somewhat, but you still have to make the trip to the menu bar.
WindowMenu will pop up a menu of all open windows in the current
application and let you select one directly when you click anywhere
while holding down control keys that you choose. It also lets you
define a hotkey to cycle forward and backwards through all open
windows. I use it every day and I think if you give it a try, you may
too.
WindowMenu is $10US shareware. You can also download WindowMenu or
get more information at http://www.kagi.com/authors/marka
Version 1.1 fixes a crashing bug due to a conflict with After
Dark 3.0, as well as a bug that caused the hotkeys not to work on
non-Roman (e.g., Japanese) systems. It is also the reference release
for an upcoming Japanese version. It should replace v1.0.

b.) Fa=E7ade.Facets.109 containing a main set of Face-Files
c.) Fa=E7ade.More.109 containing more Face-Files

Finally the French Version of the GraphicConverter 2.3.1!
The program code is the same as in the other localized 2.3.1-versions
and includes the same bug-fixes/features. There is no updater
available for the French Version.
GraphicConverter is shareware.
It converts pictures to different formats (the list would be too
long, to be added here). Also it contains many useful features
for picture manipulation.
And last but not least GraphicConverter has the special feature
to convert complete folders or a set of pictures from one format
to another.

Subject: [*] LogOut v2.21
Key Words: Computer, Usage, Time, Billing, Logging, Tracking, Logout
Version 2.21 fixes a bug that was found in version 2.2. All version 2.2 users
should update to this new version.

MacPhone is a handy shareware application that mimics a traditional modern
phone. It has functions like, 12 speed dial memory which holds
informations about the subject like name, telephone number, address, e-mail
and a picture of the subject if wanted. Speed dial requires a modem and a
telephone hooked to the modem. When you press the speed dial (or dial
manually), you only need to pick up the telephone within 5 seconds, and
wait for a "carrier detection" (i.e. a person which answers). It has also
redial button, timer, calendar and it loga all calls made with the program,
with the date, time, phone number and subject. It can clear, export, import
and open a log file. It can also export names and phonenumbers into a text
file, for easy transportation or backup, which can be inported back in. In
addition to a standard phone it has a quick-dial button for an emergency
number, like an ambulance or what ever you desire.etc. in addition to a
standard phone. The program has a LCD (Liquid Crystal Display).

Subject: [*] VacationMail 1.1.3
