Is it possible? Amazed doesn't seem to be. Essential these days surelty?

If you mean upload photos from a web form in Safari from your iOS device's photo library, no that isn't possible.

You want a pic to go from your iphone or ipad to a page of your website or a profile page on a website that you belong to. Is this possible?!

No, HTML form file uploads do not work on iOS devices. You have to use the website's app if it has one, like Facebook, or use a normal computer.
