Is there any way to lock individual apps? There are certain apps that I don't want people to have access too.
Thanks for the help

Not that I'm aware of. Because the iPhone/touch/iPad is currently set for one user account only, anyone who uses the device has access to all of it.
You might look round the App Store to see if there's an app that will lock FOLDERS of apps (this obviously applies only to iOS 4 and higher devices -- the iPad will gain that next month).
Until you find a solution, however, I suggest you set a passcode for the device and severely limit who gets to use it other than you. Or just don't put apps you don't want others to see on the device yet.

Go to Settings -> General -> Restrictions. You can "turn off" or hide individual third-party apps, as well as Apple apps, movies, music, etc... The restrictions passcode is different and distinct from the passcode lock. You need to turn them back on to use them again. If it's something supersekret it may be useful to you.

You have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the list where you'll find the "Apps" menu item - it lists the rest of your third party apps.
EDIT: Woops, guess not. I guess there isn't a way to specifically do it then.

I hear you can with a jailbreak but I don't plan on doing that, the iPhone is great, but it's too bad that people who don't jailbreak are limited.
Thanks though
Peace

Apple Product Feedback to the people who matter.
