ALSO computer (windows xp) crashed. Had to reload new ver of iTunes, lost info. May have some in saved backup. How to get new iTunes to use backed up info from lost version?

You're saying your Settings app has no icon, and... something is clicking?

No, have ONLY the icon. When pressed, the light blue, stripped background comes up. No words. Weird huh. Thinkk everything went back to default sounds wallpaper etc. Talked to Apple, they helped me wipe, put new clean version of 4.02 back on and install all my downloaded apps. Sad part is it's STILL doing the same as before or locking up the phone so I have to reboot. Frustrating. Thanks for taking time to reply. I am open to ideas/solutions. Personally I wonder if 4.02 is buggy?
