I upgraded my 3GS and it is working perfectly. But when I upgraded my moms she didn't get any if the new features (lock background and phone background, double click for running apps, etc) I'm not sure why hers isn't working. iTunes says she is running 4.0 when you plug her into the computer but I don't see any changes on her phone. She has the 3G and said she never upgraded to 3GS, could this be an issue?

I thought Apple has posted something saying that the 3G model doesn't get all the features a 3GS does.

Ok well now she is having problems getting her facebook app to work...it closes the app randomly right after she signs on...
