How can I take a photo with my iPhone then send it as an email? As it doesn't give an option to add attachment or add photo like when sending a mms?

Go to your Photos app, select one of your libraries (such as Camera Roll) and on the bottom left you'll see a box with an arrow jumping out of it.
Clicking it will allow you to select multiple photos to copy or share (via email or text message). You can select a maximum of five to share or text message, at least on my phone.
After making your selection(s), click "Share" to email your photo(s).
