Hi there,
I am trying to clear my computer of unnecessary files, but I am not familiar with what some of them do. So, I am wondering if I can delete certain things or not, specifically:
AIFF-C Audio
Apple Icon Images
Apple Loop
bzip2 compressed archive files
CPGZ archive
CSS style sheets
GIF's that came installed
gzip compressed archive files
PNG images
Postscripts
Python scripts
Scripts
TIFF images (that seems to be colored tiles) (?)
Waveform audio (Omniman Planet 3 Piano)--I think these came installed
Waveform audio (sound effects)--I think these came installed
x bitmap images
Sorry, if this is too much to ask all at once.
Thanks for your help!!

Re: Clearing Files
These all seem to be file types rather than specific files. I wouldn't recommended deleting whole categories of files all at once. What are you trying to accomplish here? If you're startup disk is running full I'd recommend getting an external drive and backing up personal photos, music and documents that you don't need on a daily basis to free up space.
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.
