Hello I got the iMac Mac OS X
version 10.5.5

I just recently got Final Cut Pro and it said the Mac OS X version should be at leas 10.5.6
every time I update the software- Which it will be insalling 12 items
just when the Configuring installation starts it freezes. :/

How can I fix that-or Why this is happening?

please I need help because I have to submit a project very soon

I don't know if I understand the bit about installing 12 items and configuragion installation starting... but if you're having problems with Software Update, try clearing the contents of the Software Update cache at /Library/Updates (the root level Library, not the one in your user's home folder), repair disk permissions using Disk Utility, restart and then try running Software Update again.
