Do you shut down your Macbook Pro when you are not using it? Or is it better to leave it on for weeks?

I leave my MacBook Pro on most of the time. Sometimes I shut it down when I'm going to travel with it, but even then, not very often. Have never had a problem.

I shut it down at the end of the day when I am not using it. I also condition the battery every month to six weeks.

I have a habit of full shut down when I'm finished using my PowerBook.

I tend to never shut down my MBP for anything other the occasional troubleshooting.

I just got my MacBook Pro today and whenever I go to get a snack or a drink or to the toilet I just close it
