Publish iWeb to Non-Apple Server?

Hi this is my first time posting here. In iWeb I've created a site and I want to publish it to my server, but the only options in iWeb are to export to .Mac or MobileMe or whatever, or export to a folder on my hard drive and manually upload everything.
How can I get my site onto my other server? Is there not a built-in way to do this?

Unfortunately, Apple has yet to realize that people might want to host their web sites somewhere other than .Mac. There is currently no built-in way to upload your iWeb sites to other servers. For now, you'll have to export your site to a folder on your hard drive and export the entire thing using an FTP program like
CyberDuck (my personal favourite).

Is there a way to set up some sort of automatic folder synching or something?

Sorry for responding to an old post, but since iLife '09 came out, I see that uploading via FTP is now a feature of iWeb.

Regardless of what version of iWeb you're using, you can always publish to a folder on your hard drive, then sync the contents of that folder to a third-party server using FTP. I happen to use Cyberduck for FTP but there are plenty of alternative programs too.
As noted, iWeb 09 includes built-in publishing directly to FTP (ie third-party servers).
