how to save ITunes on iPhone from crashed computer
Hi. My old iMac G3 crashed. I had my original iPhone synced to that computer. Just bought a MacBook pro. How do I save my ITunes on the iPhone? I want to sync my iPhone to the new computer. I don't know if I'll be able to turn the crashed computer and recover the data? I've seen plenty of people hawking software. Any advice? Thanks.

If your iMac G3 has FireWire, then try simply connecting the iMac to your MacBook Pro with a FireWire cable, then turning on the iMac and immediately holding down T. This will put it into FireWire Disk Mode (like an external hard drive). If the display still works, you'll see a bouncing FireWire icon. The iMac's hard drive will then appear on the MacBook's desktop, and you can go into it and copy the iTunes Music library.
This will work even if the iMac's operating system has become corrupt.

I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.
