64 bit arraysync and codec suggestions please

Hi

just wondering about the release dates for a 64 bit version of ArratSync.

I am working on a projection scenario with a new intel mac running 10.8.3 (virgin install) 2 x 3 Ghz 6 cores
using 3 1920 x 1080 displays - all connected to a new Nvidia / PNY K5000 for Mac (using 3 of the 4outputs)
with a Gtech ES Pro in a RAID 5 which is benchtesting via blackmagic disk test at 460 MBps for R/W

Project is 5760 x 1080 and I am seeing some slowness and some "hesitation" when playing back
photoJPEG and/or other codecs .

Array should be sufficient meet bandwidth needs Mac has plenty of processing power
Wondering if there is some "translation" problem oweing to the 32 bit nature of ArraySync. ie Carbon vs Cocoa
or if this is due to the newness of the nvidia K5000 drivers

Any particular ideas out there on the best compression codec and settings to use for this setup?

Thx

Have you tried Apple Intermediate Codec? That's my go-to codec and usually what I suggest first. It creates huge files but is much less resource intensive.

Thanks Intermediate seems to work better !

So, Anyone know when there might be a 64 bit ArraySync release?

That I cannot reliably predict, unfortunately.

I am just wondering if you had any luck improving video playback?
