Hi All, hope you can help me out.

I would like to play back multichannel sound along with a quicktime video in ArraySync.
Please let me know if it is possible to play back

- .ac3
- multichannel 5.1 pcm
- multichannel x channels pcm

The way I would try it is including the sound into my quicktime file. I would like to use the optical out of a mac mini to be connected to a 5.1 receiver that decodes the stream. Another possibility is using an external sound interface.

Well I can honestly say I don't know. ArraySync offloads playback of both video and audio to QuickTIme, and I've never considered multichannel audio. My best suggestion would be to download and install the demo, try it out, and let us know the results?
