I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

Now that was impressive - Makes you want to get a weekend project going.
I mean, the kitchen tables not being used for anything.

Tiger+Classic / Snow Leopard / El Capitan - Previously; Mac System 7.5.5 - BeOS something, I forget now on a Beige 9600 with MacOS 8 although it took a bit of tweeking...

Hah well.. this was 9 years ago! I don't even have a functioning System 7 machine at this moment ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe I should hunt one down on eBay.

Maybe a new thread for this.. but as its unlikely to be shouted down as off topic.
I'm hopefully going to be scoring a PowerBook 3400c in the very near future.
Spoken to the owner - had it from new, he's an archaeologist and Mac user since the early day - the kit comprises loads of quality add-ons and a custom bag.
Anyway, hopefully I'll have a trip to see it boot up and give it a once over soon.
I had one before but it was somewhat battle damaged by its half-mad, boozy CEO original owner.
My plan will involve sourcing a DVI adapter - if one exists.
Then we'll have a 'screen off.'
