The above Desk Accessories (DAs) appear on the pre-release disk entitled
VideoWorks (by MacroMind, authors of MusicWorks).

1. First, thank you to everyone who sent mail reminding me that MacroMind
is the developer of MusicWorks.

2. I called Hayden Software (600 Suffolk Street, Lowell, Massachusetts 01854,
800-343-1218) and spoke to a Mr. Alan Jacobs. He gave me the following
information:

a) VideoWorks -- Expected release date is the end of April. Expected
price is $99.95. It will include 3 disks: the VideoWorks
application disk, a disk of sample movies, and a clip art
disk.

b) ArtGrabber -- This DA is a proprietary product. The expected release
date is mid-March. It will be released on a clip art
disk called 'Body Shop'. Expected price is $49.95.
(ArtGrabber gives you a window who maximum size is a
full MacPaint file. You size the window up to almost
full screen, read in a Macpaint file, select a portion,
and 'Swipe' it into the clipboard. The clipboard can
hold a 512X342 pixel image, this DA lets you select
up to that size an image.)

c) Heap Doctor - Mr. Jacobs did not know about these DAs, whether they are
TrapList public domain or not.
MemWindow

If I can verify that Heap Doctor, TrapList, and MemWindow are public domain
I will be happy to post them. Incidently, Dan Winkler's EXPLORE DA is a
better version of MemWindow (personal opinion). Dan posted his DA recently,
it is presently archived at SUMEX.
