I've been running across this problem enough that I feel compelled
to ask if it bothers anyone else as much as it does me. Almost every
non-alphabetic key, when combined with the command/control key, sends a DEL.
Since I have DEL bound to a delete comand in Emacs, errant keystrokes
tend to be extremely dangerous.

Most other terminals ignore the control key on keys that don't make any
sense with it (like the numbers) and this is much more useful.

It sure would be nice if something bound to line feed, by the way. Enter
would be a good candidate, as far as I'm concerned...
