Enclosed is a compressed binhex format file of a "Squeeze File"
program, which reads a text file and replaces all isolated (single)
carriage returns by a space. This is useful when moving a text file
onto the Macintosh for conversion to MacWrite format. The program was
written by a student of mine, David Cohn, for practice but since it's
done, we are letting it go to anyone who wants it. By the way, I have a
number of students who are trying to learn how to program the Macintosh
(with the Lisa). To help them along, I usually suggest some simple (but
I hope useful) programs to write. If people have suggestions, I'll be
glad to pass them on to willing students to play with.
