If you have a disk with lots of MS-Basic 2.0 programs (like the
demos for example), and delete them all and the application, rummaging
around in the DeskTop file with Resource Editor reveals that instead of
having one copy of the relevant datafile icon shared by all these files,
the DeskTop is littered with one for each file!!! I don't know of any
other application which does this.

What is happening? Is the fault with the Finder or MS-Basic 2.0? Is
it something patchable w. Resed??

I know how to clean up the mess, but prefer to apply preventive
medicine instead.
