I just got my copy of the Douglas Electronics PC-board program
and have had about 20 miniutes to play with it...

It is VERY nice and easy to use,
It is COPY PROTECTED...

It does not apear to have a way to even print a rough draft
(except for screen dumps)

The 'price quote' is a terrible kludge....
You call up Douglas Electronics and ask to 'speak to the
PRICE QUOTE COMPUTER'
Then you hold the phone up to the speaker and
send some date to it that way..
The data SOUNDS like it might be BAUDOT, or something
else VERY slow...

The program is NO LONGER AVAILABLE in the form that I got it...
Bishop graphics is taking over and will be adding several features
including the ability to actually produce your own artwork (I think/hope)

It came with a NICE manual!!!
and a couple of letters...

One from D.E.
and the other from Bishop saying that they will be improving this
product and make it avaliable to a lot of people including companies
OTHER than D.E. that produce P.C. boards...

So.... In my opion, This program has a good chance of becoming a
"standard" pc-board desing system!!!!
