I definitely like the idea of having my screen be black on white, but
why must the CRT be producing so much light to do that? It gets
to be hard on the eyes.
Wouldn't it make more sense to have the screen be white by default, and
have the electron gun cause phosphors to go dark instead? This seems
like it would save a lot of energy, plus be a lot easier on your eyes.
