Two bits of info that might portend changes (or demise) for Lisa:
Tuesday (6th) Wall St. Journal article about Apple profits quotes Jobs
in some evasive language about repositioning Lisa to make it more fully
integrated with the Mac line, and about dropping separate Lisa software
projects. (my interpretation, from memory)
Friday (9th) on CompuServe Apple Users' Group, somebody reports that when
a friend of his called Apple with Lisa trouble, he was told that a replacement
board of some sort would be available (don't know when, or for how much)
to make the Lisa fully compatible with Mac....
Maybe it's only coincidental, and my misinterpretation; does anybody else
have some more substantive info about the future of Lisa? - Z
