One definition of frustration would be to have a pair of 1.2 mbyte Qume
8" floppy disks sitting 3 feet awayfrom a Lisa, and no way of cleanly
getting the Lisa to use them. One solution would be to have a floppy
disk controller that would use them, but no such beastie exists that I
can locate. Another would be an interface card that would work off of
the parallel card. Somemay ask "Why bother, use the 5 meg?!" I am but
the Workshop and office systems leave very little room (Boy 5 years ago
I thought a 90k 5 1/4 was PLENTY big). HHHHEEELLLPPP!!! Does anyone
know of a controller card or an interface that is plug in and go?
Software is no problem, that can be generated. But I sure hesitate to
plug in something that I have built into my 8,000 dollar beast! I am
not very fond of smoke testing the next three years of payments!

Totally chicken,
Gary
