Is it better to hit the programmer's switch to reboot the system, or
should one turn the machine off and back on? Some local dealer
suggested that using the programmer's switch could damage the machine,
ie., repeated use would 'fry the electronics' and all sorts of bad
things. They said that this switch should only be used to recover
from a application that had hung, etc. Does anybody know which is
safer as far as the hardware is concerned?
