Siemensstern (Siemensstar) by Helge Peters is freeware (and in english).
The program create a Siemensstar with 1 to 180 segments.
You can test with a Siemensstar the resolution of printer, screen,
optical-lens and a lot of other hardware.
This program is fat-binary!
