With the release of the final version of Internet Explorer 3.01 for the
Mac, Microsoft has included a nice batch of very useful enhancements to
make browsing the web easier. One of these features is called
'AutoSearch.' In the location bar, where you would type an address to
visit, you can also type a question mark (?), followed by a space, then
followed by the words that you wish to search for. However, you were
stuck with using the default Microsoft/Yahoo search engine that is coded
into Internet Explorer. With IE 3.01 AutoSearch Changer, you can change
the AutoSearch engine to any of the popular engines.
*I would advise that you only use this program on a COPY of Internet
Explorer since it actually changes the program itself*
Also, THIS WILL ONLY WITH WITH THE FINAL, RELEASED VERSION OF INTERNET
EXPLORER 3.01
This may be included on the Info-Mac CD without any objection from myself.
