Freecell is a card game similar to Klondike, but where we can only move
one card at a time.
In the game we find: 8 stacks of cards, 4 home cells and 4 free cells.
To win, we must move all the cards from the stacks to the home cells.
Since we can move just one card at a time, we use the free cells as
temporary storage.
To move a card to another stack, we must observe the same rules as in
Klondike:
- the card must have a value 1 less than the value of the card on top
of the stack
- the card and the card on top of the stack must have different colors
- to move to the home cells, the card must have a value that follows
the value of the card in the home cell; and they must be of the same
suit.
- we can also move a card to an empty free cell or an empty stack.
The program provides a shortcut for moving several cards. When we click
on the source stack and on the destination stack, the program will
determine which cards can be moved and will move them.
This is my second program for Macintosh. I used CW9 C++ and POV-Ray 3.0
for the graphics.
Enjoy!
