500 is a game of tricks - the highest bidder attempts to win at least as many
tricks as they bid. Making the bid increases the players score while failing
to make the bid decreases it. The first partnership to reach 500 wins -
hence: 500! 500 is related to Whist, Bridge and Euchre.

Release Notes
This is a major revamp of the the program featuring tougher computer
opponents, a highscore/members list, real picture cards, several new
preferences and background textures.
There's also a hint of the network play to come...

System Requirements
Minimum requirements are System 6.0.5 and at least an original 9" monitor.
The ideal is system 7 and 265 colours. The original interface was designed
for a B/W Classic.
I've tested 500 Cards on a Mac Plus running system 6.0.7 and a Colour Classic
and PowerMac running system 7.5. I¹ve also heard of it running on a
rail-gunned IIci - it should run on anything!

Cheers,
