Speed Tester 2.2 c1996-97 Brian Bergstrand Shareware $7

Requirements: PPC Macintosh

This package includes only the native version. The 68k version will be out
shortly.

This is a major update to Speed Tester 2.0 and 2.1. This release adds quite a few
features, such as a new test, progress indicators, balloon help, and movable
dialogs. See the Version History for a complete list.

Speed Tester is based on an old program called Check Ticks. This program would
run a series of 10,000 GetNextEvent() calls, report how long it took, and then
quit. Speed Tester greatly expands on this idea. Speed Tester includes three
test, GetNextEvent(), Floating Point, and Graphics(when you register). It also
includes a database of Macs for you to compare your times to.

A few of the features are disabled until you register, see the Read Me for
details.
