OS8foto - an Ofoto popup menu fix for Mac OS 8

Low level stuff to examine and control your Mac. Hardware and software configuration reporting, speed testing, extension managers, startup managers, memory managers, fpu emulation, system monitors, screen resolution & depth, keyboard configuration, volume control. (Not for typical system or control panel extensions.)

Ofoto® is an application from Light Source Computer Images, Inc. that was
bundled with older models of Apple's Color OneScanner. It manages the
scanning process and allows you to perform various transformations on the
scanned image.

The new Appearance Extension introduced with Mac OS 8 changed the system's
internal behavior in a subtle way that caused Ofoto's popup menus to break.
These popups are critical user interface elements for setting up the
parameters of a scan.

OS8foto is a small extension that supplies the behavior that Ofoto expects
so that the popups can work again.

System requirements:
* Only works on systems with the Appearance Extension installed.
The Appearance Extension *can* be installed on pre-Mac OS 8 systems
(how far back, I'm not certain; probably all variants of System 7.5).
* Has no effect if Ofoto is not running.
