Dialog Director is a scripting addition that extends AppleScript and other
OSA compatible languages on any computer running Mac OS 7 or later. It
provides a rich set of features that allow you to create advanced and
dynamic dialog boxes and floating windows directly from within your
AppleScript scripts. This gives you the ability to extend & customise an
application's user interface and to write applets, droplets, embedded
scripts and assistants with the power to interact with your users in a
fast, friendly, effective and professional manner.

Dialog Director is *FREE*. You may redistribute Dialog Director to anyone
as long as you include the complete, unaltered, Dialog Director package and
do not charge for it.

Dialog Director includes support for 7 window styles, global and
application specific floating windows, push buttons, check boxes, radio
buttons & groups, standard & editable pop-up menus, scrolling text and icon
lists, static text items, text & password fields, rectangular frames &
separators, pictures & icons, colour pickers, progress bars & barber poles,
four kinds of icon button, four kinds of transparent polygon button and a
QuickTime movie controller item.

Features include standard or greyscale appearance, automatic and live
dialogs, structured font specs, dialog item dependencies, up to 7 dialogs
within dialogs, push button action scripts, get & set dialog & item
properties, create & delete dialogs & items in any open dialog, up to 32K
