While updating my iPhone OS from the iTunes website several apps were deleated, one was a photo ablum storage app with over a hundred photos. I can't recover them.
What did I do wrong?

I find myself charging my phone at least twice a day due to heavy usage, any thoughts as to how will this effect the battery life?
