lost work on pages
When I clicked to print yesterday, pages "unexpectedly" closed. Several hours of work were lost. Is there a way to find that work? MS has a feature that when the doc of the same name is reopened it asks which one you want and the one you thought you might have lost is still there. I'm hoping that ...

Re: Spell-check in Mail
Let me ask again. When I do go to the message and control click and when I click correct spelling automatically, nothing happens. I do have grammar checked but the automatic spell correct does not accept a click. How might I get it to do that?

Re: Spell-check in Mail
There must be another place to do that for it does not change. Then, too, must it be so set for each email I compose?

Spell-check in Mail
Is it possible to have Mail automatically change a misspelled word instead of my having to go back and manually correct it -- like Pages automatically makes the changes?

Re: changing iphoto
Still no resolution to this -- screensaver zooming in way too far and showing only one face of many in a pic. Is is just that the older versions of Mac cannot be changed?

Re: changing iphoto
Sorry. The problem is not with facebook. It is with the screensaver where instead of it pulling up the whole picture as it cycles through randomly, it displays only one face of a larger picture. I prefer the whole picture on the screensaver display.

Re: changing iphoto
Thanks for the suggestions. That box was already unchecked. Just the two top ones are now checked -- Random order and cross fade

Re: changing iphoto
Upon unchecking that box, some photos do now have black on the sides. But the screen-saver still cuts out large parts of the original photo. Have no idea what else I might do? Is this older version of Mac unchangeable?

changing iphoto
My wife's MacBookPro is 2 1/2 years old. The screen-saver is set to all photos in iphoto. The problem is that when a photo comes up on the screen during saver mode, it is programmed to zero in on only one face of several or many in a particular photo. How can I change it to bring up the whole photo ...

Re: getting a flashdrive to show up in devices
Well, glory be! I went back and re-read your post and rechecked and, walah, it's fixed. Yes, it was so exceedingly simple, but I didn't have a clue as to where to go. So thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Re: getting a flashdrive to show up in devices
Yes, it is on the desktop itself, but not in either the "devices" on the left or the "places" on the left. And I still can't slide folders to the flashdrive as it doesn't show up. Is there something I could do that apparently I have not yet figured out how to do?

getting a flashdrive to show up in devices
I want to transfer items from the hard drive to a flashdrive. But the flashdrive does not show up in the devices listing and I can't then slide the item over. Any suggestions?
