Hearing the computer speak your calculations

When using Calculator, you can have the computer speak each button you click and tell you the result of a calculation.

To hear the computer speak your calculations:

To have the computer speak the value or function of each button you click, choose Speech > Speak Button Pressed.

To have the computer speak the result of a calculation when you click the equals button (=), choose Speech > Speak Result.

To select a different voice, open System Preferences, click Speech, and then click Text to Speech. Select a voice from the System Voice pop-up menu.
